The “Hey Take My Picture” gallery grew out of an unexpected and joyful pattern I began to notice while working on projects in a variety of locations. Time and again, as I moved through new places with my camera, someone would call out, “Hey—take my picture.” What started as a spontaneous interruption became an invitation to connect.I began collecting these moments, drawn to the openness, humor, and humanity of the people I met along the way. Each image is a brief collaboration—unplanned, sincere, and rooted in shared curiosity. The black and white portrait of the gentleman in Breda, Netherlands marks my first experience with this phenomenon, and it set the tone for a series that celebrates chance encounters, generosity of spirit, and the simple joy of being seen.
