“Kicks”, slang for sneakers. For my high school seniors, their kicks are never just an afterthought. While photographing senior portraits, I quickly noticed how important footwear was to them. Sneakers became a form of self-expression, carefully chosen and proudly worn.That realization led me to start intentionally including images of my seniors’ kicks in every gallery. Each pair tells its own story—about style, personality, and this moment in their lives. I love creating collections, and this one, built step by step with each senior I photograph, has become one of my favorites.
